Mission Statement
The International Society of Data Scientists (ISODS) democratizes the AI economy by bridging the gap between academic learning and employment. Through initiatives like professional certifications, the World Championship in Data Science & AI, and recognition programs, ISODS provides young adults - particularly those from low-income regions - with the 'social proof' and standardized credentials needed to secure jobs and promotions. These efforts are reinforced by internship, practicum, and volunteership programs that equip students with hands-on experience for immediate workforce entry or advanced MS and PhD study. ISODS actively collaborates with global partners to co-create specialized training programs in data science and AI, tailoring education to current market demands. To further support the academic pipeline, the organization operates the Journal of Data Science & AI, offering a fee-free publishing platform that empowers young researchers from developing nations to share their innovations without financial barriers. ISODS further guides the next generation through strategic university rankings, providing young adults with data-driven insights to select the most effective colleges, while its rankings of businesses help them identify ethical, high-growth employers. All of this is underpinned by a distributed, privacy-first innovation platform that enables secure data utilization, ensuring that the future of AI is built on a foundation of merit, global equity, and data sovereignty
